Youth Groups

You must have a signed permission slip to attend youth trips/events. Sign up sheets and permission slips available at the Youth Events bulletin board in the new foyer.

Don't forget: Youth basketball is held in the gym each Thursday from 6-7:30 p.m. under the direction of Pastor Luther Routte. Grades 7-12 youth are invited.

Youth Ministry Leader:  We are looking for a part-time Youth Ministry Leader. Key responsibilities will include overseeing special youth and preschool programs and events. Previous experience working with children and youth highly valued.

Choir

The senior choir meets Thursdays at 7 p.m.They are always looking for new voices, so if you like to sing, come out and join the fun.

Healing Services

For those desiring a special service of healing, please remember that, on the 4th Sunday of each month, there is a Healing Service in the church nave at approximately 11:30 a.m. As with all our services, members of the community are welcome to attend and participate.

Robeson Lutheran Preschool offers classes for Pre-K, 4 year olds, 3 year olds and toddlers. There is also an afterschool program called P.E.P. (Preschool Enrichment Program). It is offered to the 3 year old classes and higher. They meet Monday through Thursday from 11:30-2:00.

Our daily schedule is flexible depending on the day's theme and activities. Each day includes free play, group circle time, arts and crafts, music and movement, interest centers, snack time, playground activities and story time.

Our program is designed to help each child grow emotionally, socially, developmentally, intellectually, and spiritually. Call Donna Conte, Preschool Director, at 610-856-7613 to register for the 2010-2011 school year.

What's happening at Robeson Lutheran Pre-school!
Winter is half over and I guess we will let the groundhog tell us about how the rest will go! The children will be having fun learning about shadows and even by groundhogs popping out of a box to see if we see their shadows.

February is packed with lots of other activities too!   We will be having a Pajama Day, "Love is in the Air" with Valentine's Day, President's Day, dental health week, and we'll be having our own Winter Olympics!

We also will have pre-registration in the beginning of the month for the 2010-2011 school year. This is open to students already enrolled, church members and families that had students enrolled in the preschool in previous years.

On to March...will it come in like a lion or a lamb? The children will be watching the weather, especially the wind and clouds as we get ready for spring.

Mother's Support Group

A new Mom's Group of Robeson Township, a chapter of MOMS (Moms Offering Moms Support) Club, a non-profit organization designed to offer support to mothers who are home with their children now meets at Robeson Lutheran Church.

MOMS is a great way for you and your children to meet new friends in the community. We offer various activities throughout the week including play groups, crafts, seasonal activities, and visit many different area attractions. We also have a monthly Mom's Night Out and a scrapbooking/craft club that meets once a month.

Please join us the second Friday of each month at 9:30 a.m. in the old social hall for our monthly business meeting. For more information contact Allison Bolt at 610-856-5226 or Mary Herb at 484-955-9671.

Men's Ministry

The men continue to meet for breakfast on the second Saturday of each month at 7:30 a.m. They are always looking for more men to join the group.

Altar Guilds

The Altar Guild is a "behind the scenes" ministry of Robeson Lutheran Church that is very vital to our worship life.

Open to both men and women, and teens, this group prepares for all services, sets the flowers in place, prepares for Holy Communion, washes and irons the altar linens, and does whatever other set-up is needed for each worship service.

If you like helping behind the scenes and worship is important to you, please call the church office to volunteer as part of this group. We will then put you in contact with one of the monthly teams. Thank you.

Quilt til You Wilt

This group continues to meet on the first  Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. We are continuing to try to refine our production process to make more quilts.

We recently received a donation of quilt tops which we hope to complete and add to our shipment in the fall. Each quilt made will benefit a family somewhere.  We have a need for a few more people with sewing machines, but we welcome anyone who wants to help. We manage to keep everyone busy.
