SON GAMES

The Olympic theme of this year’s VBS proved to be well received by students and staff.  Also the format of using centers, such as art, music, etc. was enjoyed by all.  This alleviated the need for individual classrooms.  Three year olds through kindergarten were kept as a group to better meet the needs of young children, and not overwhelm them with large groups.

 Average daily attendance was 80 students and 25 staff members.  The students were very respectful of one another and the church building.  Billie Bannon, our sexton, commented on the neatness and organization of the staff and children.  Thanks to all who made this an inspiring, Spirit-filled week.
