The
Parish Picnic was held on August 24 immediately following
the 10:15 “Outdoor Service” which featured the Eternal
Praise Quartet. Once again there was an abundance of good
food and
lots of people there to enjoy sharing it.The children made their own kites and then flew them
on the ballfield.There were games for the children and bingo for
everyone who wanted to play.The highlight of the day for some involved knocking
Pastor Sue into the dunk tank.This day was also an opportunity to say farewell to
Pastor Sue since this was her last Sunday as our Interim
Pastor.The picnic seemed a fitting place to offer our well
wishes to this fun loving yet devoted pastor.
The children had
fun flying their kites.
And some of the
gents tried their hand at quoites.
and
lots of people there to enjoy sharing it.
